When was the last time you heard of a school completely devoted to the needs of CSRs and Account Managers?
Your answer is probably “never”. Well, that’s been changing!

AMRG has developed and launched its Ultimate Account Manager School, a four-day program designed by people who have been CSRs, customer service managers, and agency owners.

This is not a typical insurance technical course, nor another CSR designation program. The focus of the school is on the day-to-day issues facing CSRs in their quest to become extraordinary. Technical training is certainly important, but equally important is the ability to manage multiple producers, prioritize work, stay current and provide unforgettably positive customer service.

Agencies across the country express their concern about being able to find and train the “next generation” of CSRs. The Ultimate Account Manager School can be tailored to the needs of those new to the CSR position, or those who may have been in a CSR role for many years, but did not receive the training necessary to manage their desks for maximum efficiency and productivity. The school is meant to integrate with but not duplicate CSR designation programs, such as the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR), offered by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and its state affiliates.

The classes are intense, yet fun and interesting, and groups of 20 to 30 allow for lots of one-on-one interaction. A comprehensive notebook is included for reference following the class and 24 hours of CE credit is available, depending on the state. Comprehensive case studies are included, which can be customized to an agency’s market niches.

For larger agencies, the program can be offered in-house, with scheduling flexibility to minimize the impact of taking service people off-line for a significant amount of time.

Insurance companies find that offering the school to their agents provides a true value-added service. The program can also be made available to state Big I associations to provide access to agencies that do not have the critical mass necessary to host an in-house class.
